Chris Froome is in intensive care after a crash into a wall.
The Tour de France champion has suffered a fractured right femur, a broken hip, a fractured elbow and fractured ribs.
Despite losing consciousness after the crash, there is no sign of concussion.
Hopefully he will recover well to delight us on the tracks once more but for now he is in bad shape.
