Boris Johnson has been voted leader of the Conservative party, so he is set to replace Theresa May as PM.
He was congratulated in his win by none other than Donald Trump, proving all buffoons flock together.
He has promised Brexit by October and is willing to have no deal.
I for one hope Brexit never comes and I’m not looking forward to years under Boris.

Trump criticises US ambassador
Downing Street has reaffirmed its "full support" for the UK's ambassador to the US after Donald Trump said he will no longer work with him.
Leaked e-mails revealed that Sir Kim Darroch had called the administration inept.
Donald Trump’s declaration that he would no longer work with him was in answer to these leaked e-mails.
Number 10 called the leak "unfortunate" and said the UK and US still shared a "special and enduring" relationship.
This is yet further evidence that the special relationship isn’t so special.
Trump also criticised Theresa May’s handling of Brexit, saying it was a “mess”.

Children returned to horrific border station
About 250 migrant children were moved from the overcrowded Texas border station after lawyers granted access by a judge said the children were "severely neglected".
The New York Times reports the 100 children were transported back to the facility after it made changes to alleviate its overcrowding. They had been held there for weeks.
The children do not have a toilet or soap to wash with.
The top US border official meanwhile has said he is stepping down.
Though he’s not stepping down in protest, he has defended the organisation he has worked with.
Donald Trump is posting a new US border official and is not contrite about the conditions of these children.
The border stations are not designed to house children and are suffering from the surge in migrants.
Something needs to be done to end this, but nothing is forthcoming.

Anti-Trump demo
At 11 o’clock today a diverse group of people amassed in Trafalgar Square to protest against Donald Trump’s state visit.
By 12 o’clock around 1,000 people were ready to march down Whitehall.
Stopping at Horse Guards parade for speeches by the likes of Owen Jones.
The atmosphere was brighter than the weather as the assembled throng said no to Trump.

Donald Trump
Donald Trump has already insulted Sadiq Khan and he’s barely touched the runway.
Labour has thankfully boycotted the official visit from Donald Trump and Donald Trump has illustrated why by insulting Sadiq Khan.
There will be another protest against President Trump’s visit.
We are stuck with Trump, but we do not have to roll out the red carpet.
Watch Sadiq condemning the idiot.

Why arrest him?
Sadiq Khan, as you all remember was elected as London mayor.
Recent news is that Donald Trump has tried to arrest Sadiq.
The news can be wrong, it may be overblown, libellous any number of things.
Though as he is a Muslim mayor and Trump has heavily questioned the man largely based around his faith alone and not his ability to run London.
I am led to ask, why on earth is a foreign leader seeking to arrest a legally elected man with a mandate to govern the whole of London.
It was not a rigged election, he did win the majority and what is more he stood alongside the many Londoners who stood in silent vigil after terrorist attacks.
I do seem to remember Donald Trump saying he didn’t like terrorism at one point and Sadiq has shown clearly that he doesn’t like terrorism.

Prince Harry
Prince Harry is, well, a Prince.
He is not an MP, or a Queen, or a Civil Servant or well, anything other than a Prince.
He is a Prince who was foolish enough to don a Nazi uniform for a party.
We all remember that don’t we, him wearing that uniform.
We haven’t forgotten have we, what he wore...
How did we feel about it?
The outfit choice of his...
His brother didn’t wear it at any point did he...
There was a distinct absence of his elder brother wearing it.
Interestingly though there seems to be another Royal wedding on the cards.
Funny thing about Royal weddings, in a weird way everyone gets invited whether they want to go or not.
Also interestingly, it appears and is reported that Donald Trump is very much not invited.
I’m not sure if a Royal realises how a Royal wedding looks to all of us.
Only this time Prince Harry wedding, as I shall dub this one is not inviting Donald Trump.
Whatever is that about do you think?

Erasing history
The events in Charlottesville have brought world attention to the far right in America.
Yet now there are reports of a statue being torn down in the area by anti-racists.
Leaving me absurdly siding with Donald Trump on this particular point.
By all means condemn what has happened in Charlottesville, call people to account.
Only don't just start tearing down all remenants of painful history.
There are statues of people everywhere who a modern generation may have cause to question.
One day a school kid may point up at one of those statues and ask you to explain it.
What are you going to say to one of those children in years to come?
Yes there was a statue, but we were angry and we tore it down because we don't like to remember any history we find difficult...
There are museums to the Nazi and Soviet eras, with good reason.

Jobs vs the Environment?
As Manchester dusts itself off and attempts to move through their grief and pay respect to lost lives, Donald Trump has a hissy fit over American jobs.
He is pulling America out of the climate deal, citing a threat to jobs as the problem.
Yet America has been involved in a trade war with China over solar panel production.
So. It only do they have the potential to produce and market environmentally friendly energy sources they can seemingly do so competitively.
Perhaps he should re-think his reasoning.

Hillary's been Trumped
Trump is now set to be head of the White House, duck and cover.
Just when you think that news from the states can't get any more weird, this happens.
The idea of having a female President is apparently so weird that the majority of Americans would like a male nut job instead.
I'd love to be balanced about this, but the last time someone suggested building a wall between political landscapes we were at the height of the Cold War.
America, honestly you've left me speechless.

Think Trump, think Enoch
It was with great sadness that I wrote my last post, but as I realised that some people might not have the true context of what I was trying to convey I will be more elaborate.
If you're currently following the US elections, think of Enoch like Trump.
A fear monger.
History
A man who saw any Britain that accepted too many people from abroad being instantly ruined and swept with unimaginable violence.
He really did use the words "rivers of blood", a term that Thatcher was later to echo in a speech many years later, despite the rivers never appearing.
He tried to whip up racial tension at a time when London was struggling and to capitalize on the pain that British people were feeling to win votes for an insular nation.
Why the hump?
His picture has been used in the campaign by the Brexiters, which immediately made me view the whole thing extremely darkly.
This man was not celebrated by broad minded people.
He was stirring up fear and frenzy among good hard working people.
Hence the comparison to Trump.
